    • Joseph Smith (JosephSmith.lds.org) The site is the central location for online historical information about the Prophet Joseph Smith. Resources include chapter-by-chapter accounts of his life, descriptions and slide shows of related historic sites, images of historical documents, a multimedia resource center, and much more.
    • Joseph Smith Papers (JosephSmithPapers.org) The official site of The Joseph Smith Papers, a comprehensive edition of extant Joseph Smith documents featuring complete and accurate transcription with both textual and contextual annotation. When completed, The Joseph Smith Papers will consist of more than 30 published volumes within six series (journals, documents, revelations and translations, history, legal and business records, and administrative records). They will present the earliest handwritten and published texts of the foundational documents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Joseph Smith’s revelations and translations.
    • Languages (language.lds.org) This provides a list of languages, with links to online resources in those languages.
    • LDS.org The content on this site is intended primarily for Church members. The site’s home page provides features on new content, as well as links to all other Church sites. From the LDS.org home page, people can access scriptures, lesson materials, Church magazines, senior leadership talks, ideas to strengthen families, information on chapel locations and meeting times, local congregation websites, and much more. This site serves as an umbrella site for many other Church sites.
    • LDS Account (LDSAccount.lds.org) Use this screen to set up your LDS Account username and password. This allows you to sign in to many Church resources. This will eventually be a single sign-on for all Church sites and applications. If you haven’t yet registered, sign up with your birth date and membership number (found on your temple recommend or available from your ward clerk).
    • LDS Catalog (LDSCatalog.com) This site has been replaced by store.lds.org (see below).
    • LDS Family Services (familyservices.lds.org) This site provides information about services provided by LDS Family Services, including resources for birth parents and adoptive couples (ItsAboutLove.org), counseling, and addiction recovery programs for addictions with substance abuse, pornography, gambling, etc.
    • LDS Gems (gems.lds.org) LDS Gems offers periodic inspirational quotes in the following categories: Church History Gems, Daily Gems, Family Gems, Young Single Adult Gems, and Youth Gems. An archive of these quotes can be accessed in this section in the LDS.org Gospel Library. You can subscribe by e-mail or RSS subscriptions.
    • LDS Maps (maps.lds.org) This site allows you to enter an address and find the nearest meetinghouse. It also includes ward and stake maps, meeting times, and contact information for leaders. Learn more about LDS Maps. Formerly known as the Meetinghouse Locator.
    • LDS Media-Library The LDS Media Site is designed to help members access different types of media, such as videos, audio, and images, in order to find Church resources in one easy-to-navigate location.
    • LDS Philanthropies (LDSPhilanthropies.org) LDS Philanthropies (formerly known as LDS Foundation), a department of the Church, oversees philanthropic donations to the Church’s educational institutions, as well as other initiatives such as Church history, humanitarian aid, missionary work, the Perpetual Education Fund, and temple construction. This site describes the needs being addressed and how donations can be made.
    • LDS Public Affairs Video Channel (youtube.com/LDSPublicAffairs) Official video channel on YouTube of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This site features video clips posted by the Public Affairs office of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. See also Newsroom below.

    • Mormon Channel (MormonChannel.org) is the official media channel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It provides access to media through mobile devices, Internet, and radio. Mormon Channel on iTunes (itunes.MormonChannel.org) is where you can subscribe to, play, and download free audio and video content such as general conference addresses, Mormon Message videos, radio podcasts, and CES firesides. Mormon Channel Radio (radio.lds.org) is where you can listen real-time to new, original programs and audio and video from Church archives online, on HD radio, or on a mobile device.     • Mormon Messages (MormonMessages.org) is an official video channel on YouTube of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This site provides a simple way to watch and share brief, gospel-centered videos. The channel is updated each week with new videos that teach basic beliefs of the LDS (”Mormon”) Church, including stories of hope and inspiration.
    • Mormon Messages for Youth (youtube.com/MormonMessagesYouth) is an official channel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on YouTube with videos created especially for youth.
    • Mormon New Era Messages (youtube.com/MormonNewEraMessages) Official video channel on YouTube of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, featuring videos from the New Era, a magazine for Mormon teens. Some are videos based on New Era MormonAds.
    • Mormon Tabernacle Choir (MormonTabernacleChoir.org) This site contains all the latest information on events, tickets, and recordings related to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Site visitors will also find links to frequently asked questions, broadcast text from Music and the Spoken Word , background information about the choir, and a sign-up screen for a free newsletter. The site is also the ideal place to learn more about the Temple Square Chorale and the Orchestra at Temple Square.
    • Monson, Thomas S. (ThomasSMonson.org) This is a mini-site of information about President Thomas S. Monson. Biographies of other general authorities can be found on the Newsroom site.
    • Music (music.lds.org) This site contains links to all the music and music-related resources that the Church has placed online. Along with sheet music, resources include an interactive music player to play, read, or transpose hymns and children’s songs. Access learning materials on conducting music, accompanying others, teaching songs to children, adding variety to singing, and learning music symbols and terms. Site visitors can search for songs with a variety of keywords, and songs can be downloaded as MP3 files.
    • New Era Magazine (NewEra.lds.org) This site features the current issue of the magazine as well as archives of previous issues in text and PDF formats. Also contains additional features that supplement the print magazine.
    • News & Events (news.lds.org) Official news of the Church online. In addition to original content, it brings together headlines from each of the Church’s official news sources, including the Public Affairs Newsroom (newsroom.lds.org), Church magazines (magazines.lds.org), Mormon Channel (MormonChannel.org), and Church News (ldschurchnews.com) .
    • Newsroom (newsroom.lds.org) This site is the Church’s official news resource for media professionals, opinion leaders, and the public. The site provides news stories and editorials that are updated two or three times a week, along with official Church statements on public issues or responses to news reports about the Church. Short biographies of senior Church leaders are provided, as well as concise reference material on Church beliefs and practices.     • Official Communication Library (letters.lds.org) This is an archive of the letters and notices sent to Church leaders from headquarters. It is also included under Resources in the site for stake presidencies and bishoprics (see “Leaders” above). Letters and notices can only be viewed by people currently serving in the callings to which the letter or notice was addressed. Letters addressed to all members are viewable by members.
    • PDF.lds.org is a page in the Gospel Library that lists major Church publications available in PDF format .
    • Perpetual Education Fund (pef.lds.org) This resource is for faithful young members of the Church who wish to improve their education, find a good job, and better serve their family, the Church, and their community.
    • Places to Visit (PlacesToVisit.lds.org) This site lists the Church’s historic sites, visitors’ centers, and pageants. Each listing includes a description of the place or event, as well as contact information, schedules, and driving directions.
    • Podcasts.lds.org and RSS.lds.org provide a list of all the podcasts and RSS feeds offered by the Church.
    • Prophets and Apostles Speak Today (lds.org/study/prophets-speak-today) chronicles the ministries of living apostles and prophets, providing access to the Brethren’s messages and insight into their ministry.
    • Provident Living (ProvidentLiving.lds.org) This site contains information regarding self-reliance, emergency preparedness, and humanitarian efforts.     • Scripture Stories (ScriptureStories.lds.org) This site provides access to the online illustrated stories from the scriptures.
    • Scriptures (scriptures.lds.org) This site provides the online text and audio of the scriptures: the King James Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. Study helps such as the Bible Dictionary, Guide to the Scriptures, Joseph Smith Translation, and maps are also included. The site has a search tool with multiple options. The site also allows users to mark/bookmark and save favorite scriptures. SantaBiblia.lds.org provides information on the new LDS edition of the Holy Bible in Spanish.
    • Seminaries and Institutes ( seminary.lds.org and institute.lds.org) These sites are designed for potential students, current students, parents, and priesthood leaders. The sites provide online versions of the manuals and study guides, as well as links to upcoming events such as firesides. Use the Institute of Religion Locator to find institute classes around the world. Teachers and administrators have a site at ces.lds.org (accessible with authorized login) that provides teaching and learning resources and administrative functions.
    • Serving in the Church This site provides information to support members in their various Church callings. Site sections include resources for Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthood leaders and instructors, as well as leaders and teachers in Primary, Sunday School, Young Women (yw.lds.org or YoungWomen.LDS.org), and Relief Society (ReliefSociety.lds.org).
